Dear Engineers,

We will cut some pipeline using cold pipe cutter machine.
Does somebody know what standard should we use ? ASME codes or other standards

Regards
Praz

RE: cold pipe cutting

ASME codes and standards is perfect guideline for cutting pipelines and some other task in mechanical engineering. I think you can use that with your project.

RE: cold pipe cutting

Is it a steel pipe? what is the size and thickness? I haven't seen large pipes to be cut by cold cutters. I guess the most important is the surface finish of the pipe to meet your joint requirement.
