ASME 73.2M is vertical in-line design. It is not suitable for sewage application which you will need non-clogging design for both casing and impeller.

Just noticed that you also posted "sewage lifting application".

Don't think there is an ANSI standard for sewage pumps, but some sewage pumps have ANSI flanges.

Would agree with Pumpsonly that the ANSI B73.2M pump standard is not typically used on "sewage" applications.

Nissmurano,

For sewage you will use a submersible grinder pump :

But there are not B73.2, since pump B73.2 features desing are not more recommendable for sewage aplication.

But if you have some fluid analysis with very low solids content, and installation must be in-line, B73.2 will be an option.

I hope this helps.
