SAP 2000 Modeling Cables

(OP)
I'm trying to model a cable such that it is angled and continuous. The cable is supposed to start on one side of a bridge goes up to the Pylon and pull over to the opposite side of the bridge as a single member.

I tried modeling this in sap yet it thinks of the cable as two different elements by themselves. I noticed this because I applied a load on one side and the tension in the rope only travel up to the pylon and does not transfer over to the other side, How would I fix this?

Thank you
