Cement Grouting

Cement Grouting

Cement Grouting

(OP)
I'm looking at a Cement Grouting specification for curtain grouting on new dam construction. It mentions having set control of Type I/II Ordinary Portland Cement slurry grout down to a 10-seconds. What admixture would do this?

RE: Cement Grouting

I asked around and the answer I received is below.

This definitely sounds like an "Oil Well" type of Cementing product, which is available
It will require some "Lab work" using a GEL Strength Tester (which is able to test cement slurries at temperatures up to 400°F/204°C and pressures as high as 15,000 psig/103 MPa.) The results are recorded in "Bearden Units".
