StormCAD Initial Project Setup.

StormCAD Initial Project Setup.

StormCAD Initial Project Setup.

(OP)
Hello, I am new to the new version of StormCAD and I was wondering how to set up a project protype so that I can then select default settings like pipe size, aashto storm events and other such settings.  Please someone help me out on this.

RE: StormCAD Initial Project Setup.

On the previous version, it was done through "Libraries."  You'd checkbox the pipe sizes that were available and uncheck the ones that weren't, for instance, and those defaults would be saved in your "pipe library."  There was also an inlet library, where you could specify your state DOT standard dimensions / etc and then pick them from a dropdown instead of having to redefine the inlet every time.  There was somewhere else in the program to point yourself to a non-default "library," so if you're in an office with 20 designers you could stick that library somewhere on your shared server and have everyone point to that, so any changes to it applied to everyone running the software.

The "libraries" tab was three or four menus over from the left, if I recall.

This is all for the previous non-GIS version of StormCAD though.  I'm not sure whether the current one follows the same sort of heuristics.  And it's also all from memory. I haven't used the thing in a couple years.
