Manufacturing: create new program object - journal

(OP)
I need help from someone that knows journal and vb.  I want to automate creation of a new  program object .  After  I create first program object whose name consists of numbers (for example 000001) journal would create next program that name is next number in order (e.g. 000002) also auto-filling "program id status" and  "program name status" text field  with that number. I am not a VB programmer , I tried to edit recorded journals  but it got me nowhere.
Can anyone help?

Hi Ralf,

I have a macro for renaming programs and CAM strategies on NX.

You need some VB programing.

Take a look at the samples in ...\UGOPEN\SampleNXOpenApplications\.NET\CAM

There are several that show how to work with a selected object, including a rename program like the one mentioned above.
