Hello to all.
I have two solids in the same file, and would like to obtain a unique solid eliminating part of the both solids.
Is it possible to do it in a single operation?
I show you some pictures of as you would do in Catia.
Many thanks to all.
Best regards.

RE: Join and trim in 1 operation

In the next version of NX we will have something similar to that, except rather than selecting faces you'll actually select the solid regions which you wish to be removed during what would have been a normal Boolean Unite operation. What I mean is that we didn't add an additional Boolean type, but rather just added the 'Region' option to the existing Boolean Unite opration.

Below is an example of how you would use something like this show the before, during and after states of a simple model:

BTW, I also tested a model like yours and it worked fine, but I think my example better shows how we use 'Regions' to define what to remove/keep.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Many thanks for help me John.
I will try what you comment.
What version of NX is on the images?
Best regards.

RE: Join and trim in 1 operation

As I said, it's from the NEXT version of NX, which we start beta testing a couple of weeks.
