What would you call this other than a strut channel
What would you call this other than a strut channel
(OP)
Hi all,
Can you please take a look at the attached picture and tell me if there is a name other than a strut channel for the slotted part. I've been looking for someone who makes 316 stainless or aluminum strut channels like this one (about 13/16 by 13/32) but can't find one.
I thought maybe I should search using a different name than strut channel.
Thanks.

Incidentally if you want a lot of it the extrusion dies for a custom aluminium section would be around $2000

I've already seen that one. I need the strut in 316 SS or Aluminum. That company doesn't have them.

Never seen it in Aluminum...more common aluminum rails are the t-slotted type, like these guys' stuff:

A search for "aluminum mounting channel" turned up this site. http://pobcoplastics.com/pg_39.htm
I think that their A Channel has the dimensions you are looking for. Comes in Al and SS.
