Coil Calculation

I'm trying to calculate a Coil of Stainless Steel (basically 304) with water vapor at 6bar, the dimensions are DN20 std schedule. Could someone help me with the norm that should I use: ASME, EN or ANSI B31.x?
Thanks in advance!

RE: Coil Calculation

RE: Coil Calculation

Mike, i'd like to calculate the required thcks under conditions of normal operation and test. The question is should i use ASME viii div1, EN13445, ASME B31.3, any of them?

RE: Coil Calculation

Sorry - no clue

RE: Coil Calculation

What's the service or application?

Is it in a pressure vessel where ASME could be applied?  That might allow others to give you some guidance on what code(s) 'could' apply.  Where are you located, that's also another factor.

TDSK, the pipe coil is used for heating externally (inside has vapor at 6bar) a pressure vessel, I've been taking a look to the calcs for similar equipments and i'll use ASME viii. Thanks a lot to everybody.
