Tips On Preparing Short Circuit and Load Flow Reports
Tips On Preparing Short Circuit and Load Flow Reports
(OP)
I am curious on everyone's suggestions on preparing power systems reports like short circuit and load flow studies.
I am pertaining on the different report formats. Any suggestions or any samples would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Tips On Preparing Short Circuit and Load Flow Reports
Most simulations softwares allow you to produce them easily.
We will add a paragraph or two to introduce the scenarios and summarize the results highlighting the locations requiring actions.
At the end, a table reviewing all simulations cases showing if they passed or failed goes into the conclusion along with our recommendations

At least I think that describing the considerations taken for modelling and scenarios is very important.
Of course conclusions detailling all the findings in the propest way and trying to "ground" the study' results will always be thank by the customer.
As desrod mentioned: single line diagram clear will also help.
And I will not trust "blindly" on software capabilities, I prefer to show the engineer' abilities to perform and interpret the results.
there are some things that software may not find related and a good engineer do.
