Help - Explicit and Implicit finite difference scheme

Help - Explicit and Implicit finite difference scheme

(OP)
I am in need of some help on finding an explicit and implicit finite difference scheme for a 2D transient conduction problem.
It consists of a 6cm by 3cm carbon-steel bar. Ti=425C and suddenly exposed to an airstream at Tinf=25C. Looking to find the center-line and corner temp after 1min and 5min.
If someone has a good source that I should look at for help or general advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

With a name like ME2013, I would suspect that the writer is someone who is going to retire in 2013, certainly not graduate in 2013.
