Product Template Studio- group visibility issue

Product Template Studio- group visibility issue

(OP)
i have created a template that gives the user the ability to change the part from ie D-shape tube to Square. i have all the visibility checks set in PTS to expression and have the correct expression to drive the requirement. the problem i see is when in NX and activate the Reusable component function and make the change from d-shape to square as example the group that holds all the info for the d-shape tube does not disappear until the 'apply' button is pressed. what drives the choice is a list of choices, i do have 'immediate update' set on this feature. what should happen is when a choice is made the other choice and its tab should disappear from the interface but it does not. i can still edit a feature on the d-shape tab even though the square is my choice.this can be dangerous!! i have attached a picture showing this. any one have this issue or a fix.
i am using NX 7.5.3
