Face highlighting in "See-Thru" mode

Face highlighting in "See-Thru" mode

Face highlighting in "See-Thru" mode

(OP)
Is there a way to turn off the mouse-over face highlighting when in see-thru mode? I like this behavior 99% of the time but in see-thru mode I see a hidden feature that I want to select and when I move the mouse towards it to select it the face in front suddenly highlights and hides the thing I was going for. Its like the software is constantly teasing me by dangling the thing I want just out of reach and then snatching it away and hiding it behind its back when I try to grab it.

You can always go to...

Preferences -> Selection...

...and toggle OFF the 'Highlight Selection on Rollover'.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
