Hello All,
This is a great engineering Forum. I want to thank all People for the information you share.
I having a problem to find out any standards to define CO2 room in ship should be a Explosion Proof area.I mean the FD and Fan should be Explosion proof rated for the area.Can anyone please advise.

If you are considering the effects of carbon dioxide tank rupture, that is a structural issue not electrical.

I do suspect , no Explosion proof required for this area. as CO is not Flammable. I just wanted to confirm this ...if any standard specifies that.

Here's an international safety card (attached).
You can get an MSDS from a manufacturer as well, or perhaps find it listed on a government health site (such as OSHA in the US).
