I have the stress strain data of the rubber tested in compression. Do anybody know how I can obtain from these data Shore A of the material? Thanks!

RE: Shore A from stress-strain data

I have never hear that there is a correlation between stress/strain data and hardness.

RE: Shore A from stress-strain data

As far as I know there is no correlation between hardness and stress/strain data.

RE: Shore A from stress-strain data

Gent, Engineering with Rubber, indicates an empirical relationship between Shore hardness and initial Young's modulus.
