CHP PACKAGE-THERMAL POWER PLANT

CHP PACKAGE-THERMAL POWER PLANT

CHP PACKAGE-THERMAL POWER PLANT

(OP)
Hai,

I have a query in Power distribution scheme i,e KEY SLD of thermal power plant (2x300MW).why we use seperate transformer(SINGLE -no standby) for stacker reclaimer area of chp package.whereas for all other areas namely AHP,PT-DM etc we consider general scheme i,e two transformers.pls reply.

Regards,
Rajini.

RE: CHP PACKAGE-THERMAL POWER PLANT

I think each stacker-reclaimer is provided with a single medium voltage/low voltage transformer since the supply flexible cable is only one and
usually most of faults occur in this part.
The redundant coal supply could be done providing the area with 2 stacker reclaimers.
The Ash Handling Facility is a stationary installation provided with double supply cable and naturally, two transformers.
Pre-treatment (PT) and De-Mineralized (DM)Facilities- the same.
