Insert chamfer dimension

Insert chamfer dimension

Insert chamfer dimension

(OP)
In drafting, the software allows me to insert a chamfer dimension for chamfers that are 45 degrees (insert =>dimension =>chamfer) however the command is not intended for angles other than 45 degrees.  Is there another tool that allows us to call out a chamfer other than 45 degrees?  I would like the callout to be tied to the model such that if I change the chamfer in the model, the drawing updates...

Oh and I forgot NX7.5 with TC integration...

RE: Insert chamfer dimension

From a drafting point of view, if it's not a 45° Chamfer 'feature' then there is no automatic command to create the correct Chamfer dimension, you will need to do it either via notation or by linear/angular dimensions.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

RE: Insert chamfer dimension

I agree with John... how exactly do you determine which leg is the one being noted?  Dimensions are better used here to eliminate any possible question.

Technically, the glass is always  full.
