Dear Experts,
I have a query regarding the 3d chassis(frame actually) modelling of a heavy vehicle let us say a tractor/excavator .I am new to designing the chassis framework so need some advice on "What parameters drive the frame design".
I have seen some chassis examples from different makes and found in some cases the frame longitudinal members shapes are not even a standard channel/box shape ... how do we determine the shape of the same? (is it some sort of iterative process or somewhatmore methodological)
Thanks for your suggestions.
Regards
Kapil
