Cognex 4G7 checkers data via ethernet to AB Micrologix 1400?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to transfer data directly from the 4G7 to the AB ML1400 via E-Net. I was hoping for Ethernet I/O data "Implicit messages" transfer both directions but just 4G7 to PLC would be great!  According to the 4G7 programming guide it can be done with an AB add on program with ControlLogix or CompactLogix PLCs.but this add on can't be used with other AB PLCs.
Any tips for me? In novice lingo please. Examples would be appreciated...I've attached the Cognex prog man.
Thanks.
