When cutting an ellipsis in sheet metal it is edged/notched or not a straight elliptic curve! Not only in ProE but also when the laser is making the cut! See attachment.
HELP...
I am using Pro Engineer Wildfire 1.0!

Try seeing if one of the following config.pro settings will help

If the curve is calculated (i.e. curve from equation or relation) then I have seen influence similar to that with a large part accuracy.  If the default is relative .0012 then try reducing it and see if it helps.  Not sure though as I started with wildfire 3.0 and typically only see the effect of the accuracy on curves which are calculated via equations or if the ellipse is a small feature in comparison to a large part or model size.
