Hi everybody. I have a CATProduct composed of a concrete external ring and a concrete internal ring, with a lot post-tensioned steel cables. I need to animate a section cut. I know how to animate a section with  "DMU Navigator" toolbar, but I need to cut only the outer ring but not the inner, and with the Secctioning tool,  all parts are cutted. I have tried to add a part to the CATproduct and use this part as cutting plane in "Assembly design", and then animate that section plane in DMU navigator, but the section d not update until y click update button. So i need little help.
Thanks in advance.

RE: anmating Sectioning

What are you trying to achieve? This can be done on the drawing but that is maybe not your goal

I need to create a video in which i need to see how the section cut goes from down to up cutting the outer ring but not the inner.

RE: anmating Sectioning

Can't you just cut it in half in the catpart?

Yes Azrael, but I have to make a video in which I need to see how the cut goes from down to up

RE: anmating Sectioning

What if you control the activation of the cut from a parameter on product level?
