R20 CATProduct error

R20 CATProduct error

R20 CATProduct error

(OP)
My team has been working on a CATProduct for the last two months without issue. Last week, we started seeing some strange behavior when opening the top level product. Somehow, CATIA was building a the top level product correctly, but adding in duplicate data to detail CATParts. Sometimes this duplicate data would correspond to a std. part and sometimes it would correspond to a part we were designing, but it was always added to a CATPart. Not a CATProduct. Take a look at the picture below. I am only showing the std. parts added under the std. part shown, but there are other detail non-std. parts which are also instantiated below. Has anyone run into anything like this? I didn't think you could add a CATPart to a CATPart. I am thinking some of the data has become corrupt. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Resend the picture, nothing there

RE: R20 CATProduct error

Has the CATCache, CATTemp and CATSettings been cleared? My first guess is that you have a name or id issue between what you are trying to load and what you have in session or locally, or maybe load order issue.

RE: R20 CATProduct error

I would clear the cache like Azrael suggests

If that does not work, make a backup of the files then try CATDUA under the Utility menu.
