NX4 Maintenance Release 4.0.4.2 Will Not Load

NX4 Maintenance Release 4.0.4.2 Will Not Load

NX4 Maintenance Release 4.0.4.2 Will Not Load

(OP)
I have successfully loaded NX4 (64 bit) on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit).
I have downloaded MR 4.0.4.2 (64 bit) from Siemens web site.
When I execute the ugs_update.bat the dos window reads: This script will install NX 4.0.4.2 Maintenance Release files in:
"C:\Program Files\UGS\NX\4.0"
Press any key to continue...

This looks correct however when I run it, I receive many (can't create)warnings. Please see attached jpeg.

Check you Windows profile and make sure that there's an environment variable by the name of 'UGII_BASE_DIR' and that it's set to the directory where you've installed NX 4.0.

Looks correct.

Are you sure that you're installing a 64-bit update onto a 64-bit version of NX 4.0?  You may wish to delete the upgrade kit you downloaded and start over.
