NASTRAN Rigid Element in a Thermal Analysis

NASTRAN Rigid Element in a Thermal Analysis

(OP)
Hello everybody

Trying to run a zero stress check on a complex FE model. Changed the CTE to the same value for all elements, applied a delta temperature and checked stress concentration (Von Mises). I've got problems around interface RBE3 so I changed their formulation from linear to Lagrangian (RIGID=LAGR in the Case Control Section) giving them an "ALPHA" field with the same CTE given to the other elements but nothing has changed, same problem and even a little greater concentration of stress. Do you, FEA experts, have any suggestion about this topic? Many thanks.
