Problem re-adding centerline

Problem re-adding centerline

Problem re-adding centerline

(OP)
thread559-301162

I have a very similar problem as the referenced thread and have tried all the solutions given.

Basically my annotation centerline disappears if I alter the part geometry. When I try to back pedal to my previous model the centerline is still missing and will not let me add a new centerline.

RE: Problem re-adding centerline

Mr Space can you post an example. A way to cheat is to put in a c_line and dimension it from known sides, ect... When the c_line is where you want it, delete the dimensions, if not needed. The c_line will stay in place.

RE: Problem re-adding centerline

Gary,

I don't use the annotation CL.  Turn on the temporary axis, sketch a CL in your view, make it co-linear to the temporary axis.  Works much better than the annotation CL.
