(OP)
Good morning to you all, before I wrote my problem I want to introduce myself to you. I am an Italian man I'm 33, live in a small town near Rome. I work at a company I cover the position of appliances and designer catia v5. I attend the evening class industrial technical institute, and I have two qualifications as an industrial designer and composite materials in aviation. With this I describe who I am and what I do. Now my question to you experienced, I would like to build a library of components such as screws and bolts information for my work, I can aiutore? In waiting for your kind response I offer my most cordial greetings.

RE: create a catalog of screws, bolts, etc. ...

In my opinion the easiest way to create this standard part catalog is to create one CATPart from the specific standard part specification and then create a design table in excel to incorporate all of the variations in material, diameter, grip, etc. Once that is done you can import your design table into the standard catalog of your choosing.
