some question related to 500 mw boiler and its auxiliaries

(OP)
what is the meaning of term NDZV in NDZV induced draft radial fan?
in our esp one dimension of field is not mained? dimension is distance between vertical box to face of collecting ele. this distance should be equal from both front & rear side. now it will affect the performance of esp? whether it will cause problem while charging esp?
what do u mean by 30% of boiler load index?

RE: some question related to 500 mw boiler and its auxiliaries

Hi anandrana,

It seems that NDZV is a model number for a package made by BHEL.

We cannot help with the rest of your question without seeing your drawings. We would also have to see the context of the boiler load index statement to give you an opinion about what it means...

Good on ya,

Actually in o & m manual it is given that below 30% of boiler load index low range feed control valve can be operatted? what is,the logic behind it?

RE: some question related to 500 mw boiler and its auxiliaries

What is the fuel for this boiler? What is the boiler size (MBH or steam per hour)?

From what you have written, there may be two fuel control valves, a smaller one for low demand (less than 30 percent) and a larger valve that begins to open when the first valve is wide open for higher demand.

This arrangement is to ensure good control authority at lower flows. A single large valve would not control well at very low flows.

However, I can't tell for sure from your wording. Can you post a diagram?

Good on ya,

Dave,

Good explanation.  That is exactly what I read into the meaning of the statement about the load index value.  Esp would indicate coal or oil to me.
