Datum Shift consideration

Datum Shift consideration

Datum Shift consideration

(OP)
In the drawing what I was refering for Tolerance Stack-up Analaysis, Threaded Feature is specisied as Datum Feature with MMC modifier and some features has to manufacture or inspect with referance to this Datum feature with MMC modifier .

My Question is
1. How this threaded datum feature is gauged for inspection ?
2. Does Datum shift comes in to picture due the MMC modifier to the Threaded feature as Datum when locating another feature
3. How manufacturing people will take this datum feature as Referance to make related features

RE: Datum Shift consideration

forum1103: Drafting Standards, GD&T & Tolerance Analysis may be a better place for this.

In fact there may be some posts there already addressing this topic such as.
