NX7.5 Assembly reference sets

(OP)
People, i have an issue when creating a NEW REFERENCE SET
whilst in an Assembly. all the parts automatically add themselves to the NEW Reference set ... i would like to select the specific parts individually.
has anyone experienced this and is there a fix ... i have another USer where this does not happen but i am not sure where the setting is to prevent the automatic adding of ALL the parts

thanks in advance ..... gary

RE: NX7.5 Assembly reference sets

Goto File - Customer Defaults.
Assemblies - Site Standards - Reference Sets - Add Components Automatically. Uncheck it.
As for the difference between you and the other user, you will see on top of the customer defaults screen, a field 'Defaults Level', you can change this to user - group - site. Probably the other user has changed it on user level, this is possible because the settings isn't locked on group or site level, when you do this on site level and lock it, group and user can't change it anymore. So there is a hierarchy first Site then Group then user, but you need to lock the setting otherwise one can change it.

Best regards,

Michaël.
