Brushless DC motor control

Brushless DC motor control

Brushless DC motor control

(OP)
Hello,

I am looking for a brushless DC motor controller to control a
motor that is rated for 110VDC (not AC). It has 6 hall effect elements on the motor.

I would like a controller that can be connected to a computer or microcontroller so that I can monitor the RPMs of the motor and be able to slow down or speed up the motor.

I am ideally looking for a controller that is under $200.

Thanks

RE: Brushless DC motor control

Are you sure the motor has 6 hall effects?  Or does it have 3 hall effects and require a 6 step trapezoidal drive?

RE: Brushless DC motor control

(OP)
Brad, there are 6 hall effect elements.  Every revolution generates 6 hall element signals.

RE: Brushless DC motor control

As wroted by Brad1979, 3 Halls sensors are generate 6 combination over one revolution. Than you need standard amplifier with 6 step or trap commutation for BLDC motor.
