nx7.5 Sketch Missing Section String

nx7.5 Sketch Missing Section String

nx7.5 Sketch Missing Section String

(OP)
I am modeling in NX 7.5 using Wave link between to parts.
I have a sketch that is tied to some of the wave linked curves from the original part.  I am using a coordinate system to sketch these curves on.

In my sketch I have an error the Error message "Missing Section string".  This error happened in the wave linked part sketch after some of the geometry changed in the orignal part.

The only way of getting rid of the Red X and the error is to reattach the sketch to the plane.  But when I do this I get a coordinate system with a Red X dirreclty above it.

Sorry I do not have a part I could provide at this time.

Is there an easier way to handle this error?  What is the proper way of handling this error?

What I am trying to do is link a Casting Surface from a Main Housing to a cover so I get the Split line to match nice and clean.

Thanks
