What does Compressor running at maximum turbine power mean?
(OP)
Hello all,
What does a compressor is operating at the maximum turbine power mean? Does that mean that it will be limited to a certain power and for an increase in delta P, the inlet flow will be less? For example, if it has to compress from P1= 78 psig to P2=400 psig with the maximum power, it will suck a certain amount Q1, if P1 increased to 88 psig with the same P2, then the compressor will be able to suck a greater flow Q2 with the same maximum power. IS this right?

From "BigInch's Extremely simple theory of everything."

I would like to be more clear about that,
If the compressor is working at the maximum turbine power, Will the flow rate decrease if delta P across the compressor increased?
