Assembly in TeamCenter

Assembly in TeamCenter

Assembly in TeamCenter

(OP)
We are on NX7.5 and will be integrating TeamCenter in the very near future.
In one of my assembly files I have a component that is included as a reference, and removed from the drawing parts list using the attribute PLIST_IGNORE_MEMBER
The attribute is added to the component in the assembly file, and we use "Master Model".
In TeamCenter will this component show up as part of the assembly, or will it be removed from it as it is in the drawing parts list ?

RE: Assembly in TeamCenter

Jerry,

The attribute(s) PLIST_IGNORE_MEMBER (and PLIST_IGNORE_SUBASSEMBLY) only affects the NX parts list, not the TC BOM / assembly structure. There is a different attribute (REFERENCE_COMPONENT) for specifying NX components that are not included in the TC BOM synchronization.

HTH, Joe
