Attention CSWP's

Just in from SWW2012. SW just announced that CSWP's will no longer be able to attend the special after hours event. You'll need to be a CSWE to attend future events.

RE: Attention CSWP's

Not a huge surprise.  A side effect of dumbing down the CSWP test and reducing its price to get more CSWPs is that you get more CSWPs.  It's now truly a worthless cert.

CSWE(litism) at it's finest.

I'm glad I didn't get sucked into the CSW? spiral.

Waiting for the CSWB. Certified SolidWorks Blackshirt.

RE: Attention CSWP's

I don't think dumbing down the price was a bad thing, think about, why should it have to cost so much? No reason. Look at CATIA examsn, they go for 250$ a pop and they're just a Q&A multiple choice, not even actually using CATIA! rip. off.

Paul,
You might be onto something here. I bet if the older CSWP kick and scream a little, they might take/make an acceptation. They're saying the folks that took the exam this past Sunday at the show, 50 of them passed the exam. This is adding now a lot of folks to the CSWP & CSWE pool. I think it's well over 500 folks now.

RE: Attention CSWP's

I can kick and scream pretty good. My disadvantage is that I am still on 2009. A lot of the test is on whatever the current version is. In fact when I took the test I had '99 but the test was in 2000. Add to that I am still on XP and the 7 GUI is a bit strange to me.
