I need the basic mechanical properties (YS, UTS, Elong., RofA, hardness) of this material from anyone with access to recent ASTM standards.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, as I thought.

I hope that if you want this material that you are in Europe.  In order to get it in the US you need to order about 100T.

EdStainless,

Europe is indeed the issue here.  The only previous occasions when I have encountered this grade it has been in Germany (where I believe it has nuclear application).  That said, I don't even know whether they would now use the German code or a European (EN) code to build pressure vessels.

The problem I have is obtaining a CRN for a fitting that by German rules is small and thus exempt from requiring design by their PV code.  The largest component of the fitting is a 2"-150# F316Ti flange.  I am not aware of any welds.

What I ultimately require is the allowable stresses for A182 F316Ti (as used in Europe) up to only about 600°F (300°C).  Any guidance and web references for this would be much appreciated.

RE: ASTM property lookup - A182, F316Ti

As a minimum, use the allowable stresses in ASME B&PV Code, Section II, Part D, page 78.

Looks like the plate equivalent, so that's progress.
