I have played a little with the new partmodule in nx8.01.
Using help - I got it working. Question: In the output-> I can only select the result as geometry not the supplying features - Is this the limit at this time? To get the feature back in the main part.-
regards

RE: nx8.01 part module

Can anyone point to, or comment with, a "best practice" analysis of under what circumstances to use (and how best to use) the "Part Module" functionality in NX8.01(+), versus the existing baseline WAVE functionality?

Thanks.

RE: nx8.01 part module

Ditto potrero's question.  We have a rather extensive PTS driven assembly.  We modularized it by splitting it out into 50-ish different .prt's and have loads of WAVE links holding it together.  I'd like to look into using this "Part Module" stuff to see if that would be a viable alternative, but can't really devote the months it would take to feel it out.  A best practices guide would be very helpful.
