Carbon Monoxide Portable Detectors

Carbon Monoxide Portable Detectors

Carbon Monoxide Portable Detectors

(OP)
Dear All,
In our Hydrogen Production unit we have a UOP Polybed 2 PSA unit. As you all know the purge product contains severe quantities of CO and Hydrogen. (In our case an approximate concentration is 7% CO and 17% Hydrogen).
We are currently screening the market for portable CO detectors that our operators can carry with them when working in the PSA unit.
Unfortunately the CO detectors we currenlty use and almost all the ones we find in the market are sensitive to Hydrogen and thus are not reliable to accurately measure CO concentrations...
Do you have any experiences with these, do you know any detector suppliers that we could contact,

Best Regards...

RE: Carbon Monoxide Portable Detectors

BW Technologies has some detectors that you may want to check out.  I haven't used their CO detectors, but their H2S detectors seem to work fairly well.

got to this link to see their product page

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Bob
