KX2 1100 Bolt, what does it mean??

(OP)
I have a bolt where the head is marked KX2 1100, does anybody have any specifications of this bolt. im trying to find ultimate tensile strengths and yeild strengths,

thank you

RE: KX2 1100 Bolt, what does it mean??

KX2 means the part was made by Kamax. The 1100 is not a standard designation, any chance that is an aluminium alloy screw made from AA 1100?

RE: KX2 1100 Bolt, what does it mean??

Alternatively, this could be a non-standard steel bolt with 1100 MPa nominal tensile strength.

RE: KX2 1100 Bolt, what does it mean??

If this is an automotive application, then it is almost certainly 1100 MPa ultimate tensile strength.
