ST4 Staggered Pattern confusion.

ST4 Staggered Pattern confusion.

ST4 Staggered Pattern confusion.

(OP)
Why has the staggered option (ordered) been messed up?

Taking the fixed option as an example, in ST3 you define the number of elements in each row and column and then whether to stagger the rows or columns. When the pattern is placed there are the right number of elements in each, and either the row or column is shifted.
Thats it, done, easy.

In ST4 the element counting method is different - it also counts the staggered elements so I now have to double the elements in a row and halve the spacing ( I think that's it because I find it totally confusing. Could be the other way round.

Utter madness.
