A problem in deforming elements

(OP)
Deal all,

I have a problem with defining contact in large deformation of Abaqus/Standard.

I have two parts which comes to contact with each other and the harder one make scratch on softer one. My goal is to use coarse mesh in softer one and later on remesh it.
But after contacting two parts, the meshes, C3D4,  does not deform and it fails.

I have defined surface to surface contact with 0.2 friction coefficient- The material properties are "yield stress, plastic strain rate, density, young's modulus and Poisson's ratio.

Any idea is highly appreciated.

Best regards
Victor
