4 Bar Linkage

4 Bar Linkage

4 Bar Linkage

(OP)
I have a 4 bar linkage application that I am trying to specify linkages and bearings for.   I have completed the design and have determined all the links of each arm.

4-bar links are not something I have dealt very much with in the past, and I am trying to find a supplier / website that can provide standard "made to order" linkages and bearings if necessary.  Can anyone please point me in the right direction on where to start?

The linkages in my application are at the longest case 36".

Thanks in advance.

RE: 4 Bar Linkage

You won't find "standard" linkages.  As for bearings and the like, you'll have to know your PV, that will go along way in the selection process.

RE: 4 Bar Linkage

maybe you could buy off-the-shelf turnbuckles, or get a machine shop to machine links to your drawings, and use standard h/ware .... does that help ?

RE: 4 Bar Linkage

If you have 'completed the design', there is no reason for the question.  If there were standard linkages, which there are not, you would have used those to 'complete the design' and there would be no question.  It appears that your design is not complete.
