What is the most reliable 3/C 15kV 500kcmil armored, shielded cable?

(OP)
If you were tasked with purchasing the most reliable 15kV 3/C 500 kcmil, armored, shielded cable - what would you purchase and why? Other than the insulation and ampacity ratings, is there a part of the specification that is the most critical to look at when comparing? This cable will be run inside a building and outside in cable tray and on a messenger.

Years ago I worked for a utiltity that had problems with some cables - particularly underground ones that they knew by their records would fail prematurely. I just wonder if cable failure rates are available for different manufacturers?

We typically specify EPR insulation for critical power circuits.  The XLPE insulation has been improved over the years, but we have had very good experience with EPR insulation.

Beyond that, I'd stick with a reputable supplier that manufactures the cable that they sell.
