Horizontal Force from Concrete Pump
Horizontal Force from Concrete Pump
(OP)
If a concrete pump runs across a footbridge (longitudinally), when operational, is there any significant horizontal force applied to the structure from the pump?

RE: Horizontal Force from Concrete Pump
CONTACT the pump supplier for guidance becasue the magnitude of the force depends on the pump's operating pressure for your placement.
The OP has to account for several variables in the placement operation, such as pipe size, aggregate size, & distance.
Also, if you are running a stationary pumpline over the bridge you should support it on blocking. Again, talk to the supplier.
