Applying Threads

Applying Threads

(OP)
Hi all,

Can you apply threads to a sweep? I've attached a picture, and basically I'm trying to thread the two open ends of the bar shown, however I've used the sweep option to do this, and it won't allow me to pick it to apply a thread. Is there another option to use that will let me thread it?

Can anyone help?

Cheers

i'VE ANSWERED MY OWN QUESTION! YOU HAVE TO USE SWEEP ALONG, AND THEN IT WORKS!

RE: Applying Threads

The issue is not the 'method' as much as it is the 'results'.  A Thread feature can only be applied to a cylindrical face.
