Is the Scheme correct for Load by using fuse

Is the Scheme correct for Load by using fuse

Is the Scheme correct for Load by using fuse

We have load of 800Amps, feeding from three switch fuse unit rating of 400amps each. These three Switch fuse unit are connected on the common interface distribution board. and the outgoing cables from this DB is connected to load of 8ooAmps though ACB. pl see the single line drawing. We dont have the option to connect one common breaker instead of three 400Amps switch fuse unit. Is this schme correct. pl reply

RE: Is the Scheme correct for Load by using fuse

This would be a code violation in US and Canada.

What is the power source on the source side of the three fused switches?  Three generators, a single switchboard or bus bar, three utility transformers?

Why can't you connect the 800A direct to the 400A power source? Too expensive?

RE: Is the Scheme correct for Load by using fuse

That's not a nice solution. Why can't the ACB be directly coupled to the source?
