hey,
I have modeled a spring element and needs to give contact between one node of the spring element and the rigid wall or rigid body,,, anyone knows what kind of contact should i use for this purpose?
thanks

RE: LS DYNA Contact for Spring

In LS-Dyna it is always recommended to use the automatic contacts.
So maybe the automatic node to surface contact should work.
But that depends on what you want to do with the contact.

User's guide is good also.
