How to not have box when using painter/ match properties?

(OP)
Hey,

when ever i use painter tool or match properties in LT or 2000, there is this anoying box (property painter) that props up and covers part of the screen, is there a way to not have the box pop up evertime?

Thanks

Daniel

RE: How to not have box when using painter/ match properties?

Dear Daniel;

I use the match properties all the time, and I never knew there was a dialog box. I assume this is the box that you get when you right click and select settings during the matchprop command.

You can set filedia and cmddia to 0 which will turn all dialog boxes off. If that is too extreme, try adding a minus sign (-matchprop) before the command, that is supposed to surpress the dialog box for the duration of the command. Doesnt work with every command though.

Sorry I cant be of more help

Adrian D.
