Hardware rendering issue

Hardware rendering issue

Hardware rendering issue

(OP)
Hi, I have been having problems with PATRAN 2008 freezing within only a few minutes of opening the programme.  It appears that the only way to resolve the problem is to uncheck the "hardware rendering" box within the 'preferences - graphics' menu.  I have had my hard drive cleaned up, disk defragmented, and my graphics card changed and this hasn't solved the problem.  I use CATIA V5 on the same PC with no problems.  Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Thanks

RE: Hardware rendering issue

Do you have a spare PSU you can swop out and try?

In my experience all my issues with systems mysteriously resetting  or freezing were the result of a PSU unit on its last leg or merely acting up.

Good luck.

Power supply unit.

if you need to purchase one then i suggest maybe getting a higher watt rating one.

Cheers

Well it's my PC at work so I can't change the PSU, thanks anyway for the help.
