NX7.5 - Synchronous Modeling (Label Chamfer)

NX7.5 - Synchronous Modeling (Label Chamfer)

NX7.5 - Synchronous Modeling (Label Chamfer)

(OP)
Does anybody know how to use/edit Label Chamfer, under the Synchronous Modeling tool?
What good could one get from using it?
Can you send an illustration/prt.model?

Thanks

RE: NX7.5 - Synchronous Modeling (Label Chamfer)

I looked at that for the first time today:
First you have to define those faces as a chamfer using Label Chamfer
Then you can add the linear dimensions (using Synchronous Modeling) to define the chamer.

RE: NX7.5 - Synchronous Modeling (Label Chamfer)

It allows you to use the 'resize chamfer' command and changes the behavior of the 'move face' command. The NX help files have a short video clip illustrating the difference.
