I have attached a drawing of gate valve. Could any one inform whether the wedge is split wedge.

It appears to be a "Split Wedge Gate Valve"

What does the Vendor say it is?

Yes it is. It's a bit odd to have separate "pieces of rotation" in it.

personally I'm not a fan of the split wedge design. A Flex wedge to me is a more reliable design with the same benefits.

Not sure if you noticed but the backseat bushing is 316 sst while the rest of the valve is 347 sst.

Also the bill of material says the gasket is spiral wound but the gasket pictured is a ring joint gasket

Refer to the manufacturer's website. The valve factory is in Spain.

Look at the item number "003C" in the drawing ...it indicates it in the parts list as a "split wedge"!
